Hygiene and cleaning solutions company Diversey is relocating its corporate head quarters to York County, SC. The company will occupy a 100,000 square foot space in Lakemont Business Park. The facility will include an 18,500 square foot laboratory in order to develop "cutting edge technology." The move is expected to create about 400 jobs in the state, with hiring to start in Q1 of 2018. Sealed Air, based in Charlotte, NC, recently sold Diversey to Bain Capital Private Equity for $3.2 billion. Sealed Air, which makes Bubble Wrap, is itself relocating its own corporate headquarters from New Jersey to Charlotte. That move will add approximately 1,300 employees to the area at a new $58 million corporate center.
